We hope you and your loved ones are ok, staying safe and taking care of one another in these uncertain times. Our hearts are with everyone around the world who has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and we are incredibly grateful to all who are working hard to keep our communities healthy and safe.
We wanted to share some related service updates with you, as well as some of the things we’ve been doing with the wellbeing of our community in mind – like transforming our textile factory to make PPE, and increasing health and safety measures at our distribution centers.
We are closely following workplace health and safety guidelines from the CDC, including recommendations on wearing masks and social distancing. We are also encouraging our employees to get vaccinated.
Our commitment to you:
We’re taking safety precautions with your orders.
We can assure you that our inventory is always clean and in new condition when you receive it. We have increased health and safety measures at our distribution centers to protect both our employees and our clients. The CDC has also shared that there is low risk of the virus to spread from products that are shipped over a period of days at ambient temperatures. Based on guidance from health agencies, and our own stringent practices, we are confident that you are safe shopping at Stitch Fix.

Our commitment to our community:
We take the wellbeing of our team seriously, and follow CDC health & safety guidelines.
We’ve increased health and safety measures at all of our distribution centers with things like deep and frequent cleaning, smaller, staggered shifts and adjusted workstations to ensure social distancing, requiring masks and providing gloves for all employees, and onsite health screenings. In addition, we’ve provided employees with additional sick time and paid-time-off to provide flexibility during the pandemic.
Following guidance of the White House and the CDC, we are encouraging employees to get vaccinated. Flexible PTO can be used for vaccine appointments, and employees will not be penalized if further time off is needed for potential side effects of the vaccine.
We take our role in providing well-paying, stable jobs seriously.
In addition to offering four weeks of flexible paid time off for associates working in our distribution centers, we have created a Warehouse Single Parent Childcare Crisis Program which is intended to give financial support to the single parent employees in our distribution centers who are particularly affected by school and childcare closures. We separately established a Stitch Fix Employee Assistance Fund to provide general financial support to hourly employees as this crisis continues. It’s important that we are able to take care of our employees in the short term, but also in the long term by continuing to build a great company that can create jobs and opportunities for people in the future.
We’re honored to have supported healthcare workers by making PPE.
Beginning in March 2020, we made PPE for healthcare workers from our textile and sewing facility in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. We produced masks and gowns for a local medical facility in Reading and communicated with hospitals, pharmacies and other medical staff in the area to support these communities. We also made masks for employees in our distribution centers.
Service Updates:
We are extending Style Pass memberships.
We are happy to report that we have extended all Style Pass memberships purchased before March 25th, 2020 for three months, regardless of the renewal date.
In some cases, we’re experiencing shipping delays.
We are processing orders on time and safely, with staggered employee shifts to ensure social distancing. That said, our shipping carriers are managing through a tremendous surge in online shopping, which may affect the time period in which your order leaves our distribution center or your return arrives back to us. Please trust we are working to get your Fix and Stitch Fix Freestyle™ purchases to your doorstep as soon as possible!
Let us know if your shipment went to an address you don’t have access to right now.
We completely understand that your typical shipping location may have been disrupted with office, school and other closures. Please if your Fix is in a location you can’t get to. We’ll make sure you don’t get charged for the items, and can also help you get a Fix scheduled to an alternate address.
