We want you to be perfectly happy with the items you keep! We offer exchanges for both items received in your curated Fixes as well as items purchased through the Freestyle shop, provided the desired size or color is available in our inventory.
We offer two types of exchanges for eligible items:
- Size Exchange: Trading an item for the same color and style in a different size
- Color Exchange: Trading an item for the same size and style in a different available color
Exchanges for Items from a Fix
You can request a size exchange while completing your online checkout. You’ll confirm your exchange upon your payment processing. The replacement item ships to you, and you send the original back in the prepaid return bag.
If you need to exchange an item but have already completed your checkout, contact our Support team over chat, text or email for assistance.
Exchanges for Items Purchased on Stitch Fix Freestyle™
Items purchased directly from Freestyle can be exchanged through your Orders page.You’ll confirm exchange by rebuying the item in the new size or color. The replacement item ships to you, and you send the original back for a refund by using the return label originally provided or selecting your preferred return method.
Our Exchange Policy
- Time Limit: Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your Stitch Fix Freestyle™ purchase or Fix delivery date.
- Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.
- Availability: All exchanges are dependent on current inventory. If your requested size or color is out of stock, we will process a refund upon the return of your item.
