We are happy to help you exchange an item from your Fix for a different size! Exchanges are a great way to ensure you get the perfect fit for an item you love.


How to Request an Exchange

You can request an exchange during the checkout process for your Fix:

  1. Log in to your Stitch Fix account
  2. Go to your Fix Checkout page
  3. Select exchange for the item you wish to exchange
  4. Select the desired size you want from the exchange drop down menu
  5. Complete the Fix Checkout as usual 
    • Your exchange request is confirmed upon your payment processing

Note: If you do not see your desired size, this means the item is out of stock. 


After Completing An Exchange Request

  • Shipping: We’ll ship the new size item to you free of charge. You’ll receive a separate shipping notification and tracking number once it ships.
  • Returning the Original Item: You must send the original, incorrect item back to us using the prepaid return bag included with your Fix. 
  • Failed Return: If we do not receive the original item within 30 days of the exchange request, you will be charged for both the original item and the exchanged item.


Our Exchange Policy

  • Time Limit: Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your Fix delivery date.
  • Condition: The item must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached.
  • Availability: Exchanges are dependent on inventory availability in our warehouses.
