We want you to love everything you get from Stitch Fix! However, if an item doesn't work out, we do our best to make returns easy. 


Returning Items from a Fix

You can return items from your Fix within 30 days of purchase

If you still have your original return bag along with the prepaid label we included, you can simply use those to send the item(s) back. Otherwise, take the following steps:

  1. Contact our Support team over chat, text or emailto request a return.
    • If you’re with our return policy window, we will provide you with a prepaid, printable return label.
  2. Place the item(s) you wish to return, along with all original packaging and tags, in a suitable box or envelope.
    • This includes any branded bags for footwear and jewelry boxes.
  3. Print the label and affix it to the package. 
  4. Drop your return off at the correct carrier location based on the label provided.
    • FedEx - FedEx Office, FedEx Ship Centers, Walgreens, Dollar General, or secured FedEx Drop Box
    • USPS - United States Post Office or USPS mailbox 


Returning Items from Freestyle

You can return Stitch Fix Freestyle™ items within 30 days of purchase

If you still have your original shipping bag along with the prepaid label we included, you can simply use those to send the item(s) back. Otherwise, take the following steps:

  1. Log in to your Stitch Fix account
  2. Select your profile icon with your initial
  3. Select Orders 
    • iOS app users: Select Orders & returns
  4. Locate the Freestyle order that contains the item you want to return
  5. Select the option to View details or return items
  6. Select the item(s) you wish to return and select Continue
  7. Review your order and select Submit
  8. Choose the alternate return method option for sending back the unwanted item(s)
    • Printerless: Select to receive a QR code that can be scanned at the corresponding carrier location  
    • Printable Label: Select to download and print a new prepaid label
    • Regardless of your choice, we’ll send an email with your updated return details and instructions 
  9. Place your unwanted item(s) back in the packaging and return using your chosen shipping option
    • We'll also send an email


Note: If you do not have the option to select an alternative return method, please contact our Support team over chat, text or email and we’ll be happy to provide you with a return label.  


Important Refund Information

  • Processing Time: Once we receive your return, please allow 7–10 business days for the return to be processed and the refund to be issued.
  • Refund Method: Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used for the purchase. If account credit was used, the credit will be restored to your account balance.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.
  • Eligibility: Items returned after the 30-day return window aren’t eligible for a refund and may not be accepted for return. Once returns are processed, we’re unable to repackage or reship items.
