At Stitch Fix we seek to inspire people to be their best selves. In service to this mission we believe it’s important to make a positive, long-lasting impact on society through our work and our people.
Social justice and equality
This work spans many just causes, but in response to systemic racism, state-sanctioned violence, and white supremacy, specifically, we’ve chosen to focus on four distinct initiatives where we believe we can use our resources, influence and data to create real and meaningful change.
- We will share our company data on pay equity and representation annually.
- We will develop a grant & mentorship program—Elevate—to enable and support the creation of more Black-owned apparel companies.
- We will increase BIPOC representation in our marketing, including specific goals and programs aimed at amplifying the voices of creators of color.
- We will donate at least $500K over the next 5 years to organizations advancing social justice.

Sustainability
As an apparel company, sustainability is a key piece of our social impact story. We’re proud to work with sustainable labels like Alternative Apparel, Threads 4 Thought, and Naadam Cashmere. We also carry several made in the USA brands Amour Vert and Kut from the Kloth, among others. If you mention in your style profile notes that you prefer sustainable clothing or clothing made in the USA, we’ll do our best to honor your request. We look forward to sharing more details about how sustainability fits into our social impact strategy in the future.
